Raffle winner picker

Spin to draw a winner from ticket numbers or a list of entrants. Each ticket drawn leaves the wheel, so the next spin gives you second place, then third, without the same entry winning twice.

How it works

  1. 1

    Load the entries

The wheel starts with twenty numbered tickets. Change the count, or paste your entrant names instead, one per line or separated by commas.

  2. 2

    Spin for first place

Press Spin, or tap the wheel. The winning entry is announced on screen rather than guessed from where the wheel appears to stop.

  3. 3

    Spin again for the runners-up

The drawn entry leaves the wheel automatically, so the next spin picks second place from the entries that remain, and the one after that picks third.

A draw people can check afterwards

The hard part of running a raffle is not choosing a winner, it is convincing everyone who did not win that the draw was straight. Drawing in front of the room helps, but it leaves nothing behind. Here every spin carries a seed, and the share link holds both your entry list and that seed, so anyone who opens it reproduces the same winner from the same entries rather than getting a fresh spin. That turns the result into something you can post alongside the announcement instead of asking people to take your word for it.

Is it free, and is there a limit on entries?

Free, with no sign-up. There is no hard entry limit; the wheel stays readable into the hundreds, and past roughly 240 entries it lands on the winning section and names the exact winner on the result card and in the announcement.

Can I draw more than one winner?

Yes, and that is how this page loads. "Remove winner after each spin" is already on, so each drawn entry leaves the wheel and the following spins give you second place, third place, and as many runners-up as you need, with no entry winning twice.

Can I prove the draw was fair?

To a useful degree, yes. Every spin is decided by a seeded random generator before the wheel moves, and "Copy share link" produces a link containing your entry list and that seed. Anyone who opens it sees the same entries produce the same winner, so the result is reproducible rather than a claim.

What that does not yet do is stop an organiser from spinning repeatedly and only sharing the link they liked. Proving that requires publishing a commitment before the draw, which is a separate tool we are building, not something this page claims to do today.

Can I use entrant names instead of ticket numbers?

Yes. Replace the tickets with names, email addresses, usernames, or whatever identifies an entry. Ticket numbers are only the default because they match a physical raffle book and avoid putting a list of real names on a screen in front of a room.

What if the same person bought several tickets?

Enter each ticket separately. Someone with five tickets appears five times, which correctly gives them five times the chance, and the wheel shows that as five sections rather than hiding it. Leave "remove duplicate entries" switched off so those repeated lines are kept.
