What should I watch tonight?
The wheel comes loaded with genres, so one spin narrows a whole catalogue down to a single shelf. Paste your own watchlist instead if the shortlist is already written and nobody will commit to it.
How it works
- 1
Spin the genres, or load your list
Sixteen genres are already on the wheel. Swap them for the titles sitting in your watchlist if you would rather pick an actual thing to watch.
- 2
Spin
Press Spin, or tap the wheel. One option wins and the rest stay in, so a second opinion is one more spin away.
- 3
Narrow down if two people disagree
Turn on "remove winner after each spin" and use it as an elimination round: each spin knocks an option out until one is left.
The scroll is the problem, not the shortage
Nobody runs out of things to watch. What runs out is the willingness to keep evaluating options, and twenty minutes of browsing thumbnails costs more than watching something merely fine would have. Handing the decision to a wheel works because the real difficulty is not identifying the best choice, it is being the person who commits to one. Spinning for a genre first tends to beat spinning for a title, since it cuts the field to something you can actually look through.
Is it free?
Yes, and there is nothing to sign up for or install. It runs in the browser, including the browser on a smart TV or a console if that is where you are deciding.
Does it know what is on Netflix or Prime?
No, and it deliberately does not try. It is not connected to any streaming catalogue, so it will never send you after something that left the service last month. It decides between whatever options you give it, which is why the default list is genres rather than specific titles.
Can I use my own watchlist?
Yes, and it works best that way. Paste the titles one per line or separated by commas, and the wheel picks between things you have already decided are worth watching.
Two of us cannot agree. Can it settle that?
Put both shortlists on the wheel together and spin once, which gives an even chance to every title regardless of who suggested it. For a slower version, turn on "remove winner after each spin" and run it as elimination until one title remains.
Can I send the result to whoever is holding the remote?
"Copy share link" gives you a link holding the list and the seed of that spin, so opening it shows the same result rather than spinning again. Nothing is uploaded; the list travels inside the link.
